JDBC connections can be used to connect to DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Microsoft Windows operating
systems, and DB2 for z/OS®.
Trusted IBM DB2 Database Connections
You can establish a connection between the IBM DB2 database
and IBM Cognos software where multiple users connect
to the database using the database trusted context feature.
DB2 Connection Parameters
You specify connection parameters when you create
a data source or modify a data source connection.
DB2 JDBC Connection Parameters
If you have selected the Configure
JDBC connection check box, you can specify JDBC connection
parameters when you create a data source.
