Log Messages
You specify the location of the log messages
and the size and number of log files, and configure the properties
of the log server in the configuration tool.
By default, log messages are saved to the cogserver.log file located in c10_location/logs. They can also be saved in a database. For more information, see the IBM Cognos Business Intelligence Installation and Configuration Guide.
Use log messages for troubleshooting only. If you want to track usage, use audit reports, see Audit Reports.
